Sky imagery — CDS / Strasbourg
This research made use of hips2fits, a service provided by CDS, Strasbourg, France, aiming at extracting FITS images from HiPS sky maps with respect to a WCS. Sky views delivered via Aladin / HiPS; object name resolution via CDS Sesame (Simbad · NED · VizieR); catalogs served from VizieR.

About this tool
Deep Sky Explorer is a visualisation tool: previews are reprojected, log-scaled images made for seeing structure — not photometry. For science-grade FITS, use the original mission archives (MAST, HEASARC, ESA, IRSA). Free & open, built by Devil's Devs to democratize the deep sky. Not affiliated with, or endorsed by, NASA, ESA, or CDS — this tool gratefully uses their public services.
